NetApp FAS Series filers provide high-end, high-performance enterprise storage solutions. The NetApp design optimises and consolidates high performance data access for individuals in multi-user environments as well as for application servers and server clusters with dedicated access.
This flexibility is achieved is by running NetApp's own advanced, high performance file-system, Write Anywhere File Layout (WAFL) and NetApp's advanced storage operating system, Data ONTAP. Connections are supported via CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
Modular, scalable, unified, and easily-upgraded, NetApp Filers scale to over 500TB of raw storage capacity, and offer field-proven data availability rates greater than 99.998%
